Example: “john.doe@gmal.com” instead of “john. doe@gmail.com”. This is especially useful when sending transactional emails back to the customer after placing an order, submitting a contact form, etc. Sending emails to the non-existent addresses will result in so called “bounces” which will decrease reputation of your sending IP address. Your server’s IP address might get blacklisted and your customers will no longer receive emails from you. Plugin is using “Mailcheck.js” library: https://github.com/mailcheck/mailcheck/ ## Installation 1. Upload `email-address-validator.php` to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress 3. That’s it, plugin will now work with predefined domain names / checks 4. You can add custom domain names under Settings -> Email Validator in the WordPress administration ## FAQ Installation Instructions 1. Plugin will automatically look for all inputs with type “email” (input[type=”email”]). It will work with Woocommerce, Contact Form 7 and any other plugin out of the box. Which domains are included by default? By default, following domains are automatically included after activating the plugin( line 18-34): https://github.com/mailcheck/mailcheck/blob/master/src/mailcheck.js Can I define custom domains? Caught most of the invalid emails in our test list and identified all Catch-alls.
