On WordPress 6.9 and above, Init Embed Posts registers one read-only ability under the init-embed-posts<\/code> category:<\/p>\n\n\ninit-embed-posts\/get-embed-data<\/code> \u2014 returns embed data (title, excerpt, thumbnail, images, and \u2014 for WooCommerce products \u2014 price) for a published post or product, given an id<\/code> and type<\/code> (post<\/code> or product<\/code>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\nThis is discoverable and executable via PHP (wp_get_abilities()<\/code>), and \u2014 for sites that opt into exposing it \u2014 the wp-abilities\/v1<\/code> REST namespace, using the exact same data as the REST endpoints below.
