    This plugin connects to an external service (kubelio.com) to download demo\ncontent files during the Setup Wizard process.<\/p>\n\n

    What the service is and what it is used for:<\/strong>\nThe Setup Wizard's one-click demo import feature fetches pre-built demo content\n(XML import files, customizer settings, widgets, and media) from Kubelio's\nservers. This allows users to quickly populate their site with a professionally\ndesigned starting layout.<\/p>\n\n

    What data is sent and when:<\/strong>\nA randomly generated token (not tied to the user's identity or any license) is\nappended as a URL query parameter to the demo file requests. No personal user\ndata, site content, license key, or identifiable information is transmitted.\nData is only sent when the user explicitly triggers the \"Import Demo\" step in\nthe Setup Wizard.<\/p>\n\n

      Kubelio Companion is specifically built and optimized for Kubelio themes. It is not recommended to use it on non-Kubelio themes, as some elements rely on the theme's core structure.<\/p><\/dd>\n

      Does the demo import affect my existing WooCommerce pages?<\/h3><\/dt>\n

      The demo import includes its own Shop, Cart, Checkout, and My Account pages, and these will be created as new pages during the import. If your site already has WooCommerce pages, this can result in duplicate pages \u2014 your existing pages are not deleted or modified. To avoid WooCommerce also auto-generating its own default set on top of this, Kubelio Companion temporarily disables WooCommerce's automatic page creation during the import process; the default behavior is restored immediately once the import finishes.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
