Description
Indexarix SEO is a modular technical SEO plugin for WordPress focused on indexing, metadata, structured data, sitemaps, redirects and site diagnostics.
All features currently included in Indexarix SEO are free. The plugin does not require an account, license or subscription to use its local SEO features.
Indexarix is designed to give site owners a central place to manage technical SEO while avoiding duplicate output during migrations or when another SEO provider is still active.
SEO metadata and social sharing
Manage SEO titles, meta descriptions, canonical URLs and robots directives. Indexarix can also generate Open Graph and X/Twitter metadata with editor previews.
Structured data
Generate JSON-LD Schema for supported content and taxonomy contexts, including breadcrumbs through BreadcrumbList markup.
Indexing and sitemaps
Control indexing behavior by content type and manage XML sitemaps with image support. Indexarix also includes a Google News sitemap and an optional video sitemap with VideoObject data.
Redirects and 404 monitoring
Create and manage 301, 302, 307, 410 and 451 rules. The 404 Monitor classifies requests, helps identify relevant broken URLs and can suggest destinations for review without creating redirects automatically.
Diagnostics and migration
Run progressive site diagnostics, review technical SEO conditions and use Safe Migration tools when moving from another compatible SEO plugin. Indexarix never activates or deactivates another plugin automatically.
Optional modules
Optional modules include automatic image ALT fallback, IndexNow URL submission, video sitemap support and other tools that can be enabled only when needed.

External services
IndexNow
The IndexNow module is disabled by default. When an administrator enables it and URLs are queued, Indexarix sends the following information to the configured IndexNow endpoint:
- the website host;
- the IndexNow key and its verification URL (
keyLocation); - the list of local public URLs queued for update notification.
The default endpoint is https://api.indexnow.org/indexnow. IndexNow is a third-party protocol used to notify participating search engines about added, updated or removed URLs. Requests are only sent when the module is enabled.

Social profile test
The optional Test profiles admin tool only runs after an administrator action. It makes a safe HTTP request to profile URLs configured by that administrator to verify whether they respond.
Indexarix does not send those profile settings to BelliCode. Requests are sent directly from the WordPress site to the profile URL configured by the administrator. The destination website’s own terms and privacy policy apply.
Privacy
Indexarix SEO does not include proprietary telemetry and does not send usage data to BelliCode. Features that perform external requests are described in the External services section.
